Helen is a licenced insolvency practitioner, chartered accountant and member of the institute for turnaround. For the past decade she has worked with a wide range of stakeholders across large and mid market businesses across the Midlands and further afield. Helen also leads the PwC agrifood restructuring team which has a wide remit across businesses from agriculture, to manufacturers, logistics and retail.

Recent assignments include:

• Lead appointee over a PE owned aluminium cladding business, seeking to finalise and settle contracts with main contractors in respect of public infrastructure buildings
• Appointee over a data management platform built for the legal sector. This assignment culminated in a recent prepack and the rescue of over 100 jobs
• Advisor to the board of a social housing group looking to acquire and consolidate a distressed competitor
• Advisor to a supermarket looking to understand and support a distressed business within its supply chain
• Lead appointee on a chilled logistics business which formed a critical part of the UK’s food infrastructure.
