Imogen Beltrami

Barrister,
South Square

Imogen joined South Square as a tenant in October 2023 following the successful completion of her pupillage. Imogen has a busy practice covering offshore litigation, corporate restructuring and insolvency, and commercial litigation appearing on both a led and unled basis. She has a particular interest in cases raising points of company law, most recently preparing for a Commercial Court trial involving complex issues of Spanish company law.

Imogen is also developing a busy restructuring practice. She has recently been involved in the highly contested Thames Water restructuring plan, acting for the Class B AHG creditor group. This case involved complex legal points around the terms of the plan and viability of launching an alternative restructuring proposal. Imogen also acted as junior counsel to the plan company in the highly contested Link Fund Solutions scheme of arrangement which considered intricate matters of consumer redress through the FSCS and the FOS.

Since completing her LLM at the London School of Economics, Imogen has been involved with a pro bono law clinic based in London and is currently advising on numerous cases covering a range of practice areas.
