Senior Vice President, Marsh

John was for well over 30 years a partner at Womble Bond Dickinson ,before joining Marsh as a Senior Vice President where he seeks to persuade all IPs and their advisers that having adverse costs cover when litigating is vital (and not seeking to put it in place might be negligent). He was an authorised IP from 1988 until 2017 ; he served for 10 years on the Lord Chancellor’s Insolvency Rules Committee ; he was the Moderator of the JIEB personal insolvency paper for over 25 years and he advised the IPA on disciplinary and regulatory matters. In his spare time he runs a herd of pedigree Longhorn cattle from his Northumberland farm.
