Tim is the acting Vice President of R3, the Association of Business Recovery Professionals, due to be formally appointed as R3 President towards the end of April 2024. Tim also acts as Chair of the R3 Regional Communications Committee, a member of the R3 Scotland Committee and sits on the R3 Scottish Technical Committee, as well as being a member of R3 Council.

Dual qualified in England & Wales and Scotland, with cumulative over 26 years’ experience in all aspects of business restructuring, recovery and insolvency cases.

Recent highlights include the administration of Arjowiggins group of companies, and advising senior creditors on the administration of OSO Fiber UK, both companies operating in the UK and global paper materials and paper recycling industries. Career highlights include advising in leading insolvency and environmental authorities such as The Scottish Coal Company Ltd (in liquidation), the Liquidation of Doonin Plant Limited; and dealing with high profile sports club restructurings at the turn of the century such as Leicester City FC, Ipswich Town FC and Leeds United.

Tim also acts for major US funds on recoveries of corporate and personal debtor and personal guarantee secured and unsecured recoveries in England, Wales and Scotland.
