Tom is a leading offshore lawyer based in the Isle of Man who recently returned to private practice to establish Maher Law, a boutique disputes-only practice specialising in insolvency, regulatory enforcement, global tax investigations and trust disputes. Tom was regularly top ranked by Chambers Global in its top tier (Band 1) and by Legal 500 as a “leading individual” in several practice areas. In addition to a career of 20 years in private practice, Tom was first General Counsel of the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority where we managed several high-profile public interest winding-up and receivership matters.
