Wednesday 6 May

Day One of the conference will focus on connections, meaningful conversations, and creating opportunities for networking across our community. The exact times are being finalised but we recommend booking flights to be at the Marriott Hotel by 14:00 as this will be the meeting point for each activity.

Taste Budapest

Attendees will visit a traditional strudel house to see the traditional craft of making a strudel followed by a tasting. Attendees will then be guided to a local wine tasting where they will taste four Hungarian wines and a mixed plate of Hungarian handmade products. Sponsored by:

Scenic Budapest

Attendees will explore the famous blue Danube via 90 minute river cruise. Come and join us on a private boat for drinks whilst enjoying an open-air panorama of Budapest’s stunning scenery.

Cultural Budapest

Attendees will experience a private tour of the Houses of Parliament building a beautiful example of Neo-Gothic architecture where will you see amongst other things the session room and Hungarian Holy Crown and Coronation Jewels. This tour will be followed by a trip to the Market Hall where attendees will have free time to explore the delights of the Hungarian market.

Informal Welcome Dinner

To ensure attendees get a chance to soak up the atmosphere of Budapest the Wednesday dinner is being held at a local restaurant. Attendees will feast on traditional Hungarian food and be able to network and catch up on the days networking activities.

Thursday 7 May

Conference sessions will take place all day and will touch on this year’s theme 40 years forward: Learning from the past and the present, leading into the future.

Attendees can expect an engaging and thought-provoking programme that reflects on key milestones in our history, celebrating the profession’s resilience, innovation and value. Looking ahead to shaping the future of policy, practice, and regulation to ensure the UK maintains its leading role as a global centre for restructuring, turnaround and insolvency.

Gala dinner

Thursday evening we will welcome all attendees to a reception and gala dinner. Amongst delicious food and entertainment this is the perfect opportunity to continue to network with attendees and make new connections.

Friday 8 May

There will be conference sessions on Friday morning but we will finish by 12:30 to allow for people to travel back to the airport to return home.
