Andy Pear is one of the founding partners of the business. Having launched BM Advisory with Mike Solomons in 2011 as part of the Beavis Morgan Group, the business grew organically over the subsequent 10 years to a team of 20 people over three offices.

In November 2021, the firm acquired Moorfields Advisory and the two practices merged, adopting the Moorfields brand to enhance their offering in Real Estate and Secured Lender services. Following an expansion into the North-West in 2022, the firm now comprises 55 team members across five UK offices.

In December 2024, Moorfields and the Beavis Morgan Group joined the Kinbrook Group supported by private equity firm Blixt, which will position Moorfields as the national restructuring service line within one of the UK’s fastest growing accountancy groups. Prior to establishing his own practice, Andy was a director at a National listed accountancy firm and now has more than 30 years’ experience in all forms of financial restructuring, insolvency and recovery. This also includes complex litigation and a number of cross-border cases.

Andy is a Chartered Certified Accountant, Licensed Insolvency Practitioner and a member of the Turnaround Management Association. Over the past thirty years, he has also built a strong reputation working with the ABL community alongside developing the specialist debt advisory divisions, Cadence Advisory and Moorfields Commercial Finance to enhance the group’s credentials in this space.
