Richard Obank is a veteran partner in the Finance Transactions group at BCLP based in London. He has broad sector experience acting for insolvency practitioners, corporates and other stakeholders on distressed M&A mandates (pre and post insolvency), formal/informal reorganisations and refinancings. He regularly advises boards of directors in situations where his extensive experience is required in challenging financial conditions. He qualified as a solicitor in 1989 and obtained his licence to act as an insolvency practitioner in 1997.
